Sanatorium is now out, and it blends together a medical sim with some interesting puzzles. It’s certainly different, and the developer is working on some important fixes before its launch. A pre launch patch dropped, which brought some nice changes that should help the game.
The main takeaway from this patch for Sanatorium is a nice safeguard for an issue that was reported on the Steam Deck. Save files were previously being deleted on the Deck due to file permission errors, but a safeguard is now in place. There are also bug fixes to prevent plot stoppers, starting funds, and stability improvements.
Sanatorium is on sale for $9.74 on Steam until November 18th.
