After six years in Early Access, Shoreline Games and Crimson Tales have announced that Onirism will launch its full 1.0 version on Steam on September 25, 2025. The whimsical action-adventure is also debuting a celebrity voice cast that includes K-pop star AleXa and Overwatch’s Anna Lauzeray-Gishi.
From Early Access to Full Release
Onirism originally entered Early Access with positive feedback from its community. The game mixes third-person shooting, puzzle-solving, and platforming as players explore a dreamlike multiverse full of vibrant worlds. In version 1.0, fans will finally get the complete story of Carol, a young girl searching for her missing plush companion Bunbun while uncovering the truth behind the portal that pulled her into another dimension.
A World-Class Voice Cast
To mark its full release, Onirism has brought in a star-studded cast to bring its characters to life. AleXa, the award-winning K-pop artist and recent Billboard-charting singer, voices Carol in English, while Anna Lauzeray-Gishi (Overwatch’s Kiriko) lends her voice to the French version.
The lineup also includes YouTube personalities Benzaie and Bob Lennon, who voice key characters and add their signature energy to the multiverse adventure.
Developer and Publisher Statements
“It’s been a long road to 1.0, but we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built. Onirism is more than a game—it’s an ever-growing world we’ve crafted together with our community,” said Amaury Bautier, CEO of Crimson Tales.
Keith Kawamura, CEO of Shoreline Games, added: “With the launch of version 1.0 and the addition of absolute world-class voice talent, we can’t wait to share Carol’s full story with the world.”
